It provides a solution for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Yield Forecasting, serving growers with actionable intel extracted from a mountain of data to increase operational visibility, enhance decision-taking, and help to scale their success. Ecoation’s mission is to help greenhouse growers get the visibility they need to protect their plants from pests and diseases before an outbreak happens.
Customer Challenge
While launching OKO, its robotics and analytics platform, ecoation required experts in state-of-the-art technologies such as semantic instance segmentation and production edge computer vision systems. Finding the right team proved to be a challenge as they required a multidisciplinary set of skills in an advanced expertise level, and that's why they contacted the dtLabs team.
The dtLabs Approach
We provided a full team, from labelers to senior system architects, and quickly developed initial versions of the technology to bring intelligence to agriculture. Our team collaborated closely with ecoation's staff, from research to productization, ensuring a successful journey. After the initial scope of features, the dtLabs team continued to work alongside ecoation, refining its models and developing other products for IPM and Yield estimation.
